When you combine a vibrant color palette, beautiful lakeshore views, and elegant Mediterranean styling, the result is truly unforgettable. On April 19, 2026, the Magic Flowers Event Rentals team had the pleasure of providing a custom decor rental package for a breathtaking lemon-themed bridal shower hosted at the beautiful Bayside Variety Kitchen + Bar in Barrie.

Perfectly complementing the venue’s warm, inviting atmosphere and stunning waterfront views, our decor package brought a slice of the Amalfi Coast right to Ontario. Here is a closer look at the sunny, citrus-infused decor we provided to celebrate the beautiful bride-to-be, Monica.

A Vibrant, Custom Welcome

To set the tone the moment guests arrived, we set up a show-stopping photo opportunity and focal point.

  • The Statement Backdrop: We provided a custom, vibrant yellow arched custom backdrop featuring elegant, contrasting script for “Monica’s Bridal Shower.”
  • Mediterranean Florals: Flanking the arch, we curated a collection of tall, matte-white ceramic vases featuring beautifully textured, artisanal finishes. These held striking floral arrangements of towering white blossoms and delicate yellow stems, creating a lush, organic feel.
  • Rustic Citrus Accents: To ground the display and tie into the Mediterranean theme, we incorporated natural woven baskets and rustic wooden crates overflowing with fresh, vibrant yellow lemons.

The Tablescape Details

For the dining area, the goal was to create an intimate, fresh, and cohesive tablescape that felt both effortlessly elegant and warmly inviting against the venue’s wooden tables.

Our table decor package featured:

  • Textured Base Layers: Natural woven hyacinth placemats added an earthy, rustic texture to every place setting.
  • Sunny Linens & Touches: Bright yellow cloth napkins were neatly folded and tied with delicate white string. For that perfect thematic touch, we topped each napkin with a fresh lemon slice and a sprig of green foliage, sitting beautifully alongside the customized guest favor boxes.
  • Lush Centerpieces: Down the center of the tables, we placed gorgeous ribbed white ceramic vases filled with dense, vibrant greenery and delicate white blooms.
  • Scattered Citrus: Rather than a traditional fabric runner, we artfully scattered whole fresh lemons and loose sprigs of dark green foliage directly onto the wooden tables. This created a natural, cascading focal point that connected the centerpieces and added a pop of vibrant color to the room.
