Creating a magical atmosphere to welcome a new life is always a joy. On May 9, 2026, we had the pleasure of transforming a beautiful space at The School Fine Dining in Markham into a pastel dreamscape for a special baby shower.
The venue’s elegant wood paneling, classic chandeliers, and sophisticated ambiance provided the perfect canvas for a soft, floral-forward design. Here is a closer look at the bespoke decor elements we provided and set up for this unforgettable “Baby in Bloom” celebration.
The Focal Point: A Custom Wavy Backdrop
To anchor the room and create a picture-perfect setting for the mom-to-be, we installed a custom pastel pink wavy backdrop. The soft, scalloped edges of the panel added a modern yet playful touch, perfectly suiting the gentle theme of a baby shower. Adorned with delicate, dimensional “Baby in Bloom” lettering, this backdrop served as the central point for photos, gifts, and memory-making.

Floral Artistry: Lush Flower Cascades and Towers
No baby shower is complete without breathtaking blooms. To frame the wavy backdrop, we designed vibrant, asymmetrical flower cascades.
Using a romantic palette of soft lavender, blush pink, cream, and ivory, we built grand flower towers that seamlessly hugged the curves of the backdrop panel. The mix of premium silk roses, peonies, and delicate filler flowers added extraordinary texture and volume, bringing the “Baby in Bloom” theme to life without overwhelming the elegant dining space. Setting the Table: Elegant Centerpieces
To carry the floral magic throughout the room, we designed matching table centerpieces for the guest seating. Resting on soft pink table runners, these low-profile floral arrangements echoed the colors and textures of the main flower cascades.
By keeping the centerpieces low, we ensured guests could easily converse across the tables while enjoying their meal. Paired with tall, slender taper candles and crystal glassware, the floral arrangements added a touch of warmth and luxury to the dining experience.
