This past weekend, we were delighted to bring happiness to one more family’s celebration, this time a farm-themed kid’s birthday party at Earthbound Kids in Pickering. The picturesque farm venue set the perfect stage for a whimsical and nature-inspired setup. Our team at Magic Flowers Event Rentals created a warm and inviting atmosphere that blended seamlessly with the rustic barn surroundings.

A Custom Farmhouse Backdrop with Oversized Flowers

The highlight of the décor was our custom color barn house backdrop, painted in soft blush pink with crisp white trim to match the family’s chosen palette. To make it even more special, we added a personalized signage displayed on the barn house, customized with the celebrants’ names. Framing the barn were our oversized handmade flowers, including giant daisies, delicate pastel poppies, and bold yellow blossoms. These unique statement pieces brought a playful yet elegant feel to the farm-themed setup, drawing admiration from every guest. The giant standing flowers are, by the way, our signature decor and the unique rental item on the market, they are versatile, elegant and are highly demanded as an exclusive decor at all kinds of events.

Wooden Cake Stand and Floral Centerpieces

To complete the design, we added a wooden cake stand (plinth), styled simply yet beautifully to hold the sweet centerpiece of the day. Our team also provided fresh floral-inspired table centerpieces, incorporating soft pinks, whites, and greens to tie everything together. These details gave the picnic-style seating a cohesive and polished look while staying true to the natural farm vibe.

A Thoughtful Alternative to Balloons

When planning the decor, our client considered a few different themes, including air balloons. However, they decided against balloons as they can feel cliche and, more importantly, could frighten the horses and animals at the farm if they popped. Instead, they browsed through our event decor gallery and immediately fell in love with our giant flowers, barn backdrop, and personalized signage. It was the perfect choice— a farm-themed celebration at Earthbound Kids, safe, unique, and unforgettable.
